We recently visited Guinevere for the 5th year in a row. It holds a very special place in all our hearts. The location is remote and private, the facilities excellent, the service superb, the views spectacular, the rooms lovely, the kitchen great, the outdoor areas spacious and inviting... what can I say. She's one of a kind. Looking forward to the next visit already. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends at Guinevere for a birthday celebration weekend. The staff were welcoming and accommodating to all our requests. The rooms are spacious and the beds beautifully comfortable. We spent many hours around the huge fireplace, and also enjoyed walks in area. I highly recommend this lovely spot for a country getaway.

Our experience was marked by the exceptional service of the house staff. They were not only friendly but also attentive, ensuring our accommodations were comfortable and pristine. The daily cleaning of the kitchen was particularly helpful, as it allowed us and our guests to focus on enjoying the festivities without any hassle.

The wedding reception held at Guinevere were magical. The venue was beautifully set up by Nadia and her team from Tulbagh Wedding Valley, blending seamlessly with the natural elegance of the location, creating a picturesque backdrop that left us and our guests in awe.

I’ve been here 4 times over the years, and every time I’ve been amazed. The grounds are beyond stunning. The attention to detail from the service and host are so thoughtful. It’s got to be one of the most stunning wedding venues around - the inside courtyard!!! Most of my photos shown are from the recent wedding here in 2024. 😍Can’t wait to come back!

Guinevere Guest Farm is the perfect space if you’re looking to unwind, relax and soak in the nature and surrounding beauty. The property is tastefully designed, rooms are spacious, comfortable and display lovely bold architecture. The property is well equipped and caters to your every need. Highly recommend!

This is my absolute favourite place for a trip out of Cape Town! A short, beautiful drive brings you to this very special guest farm. The rooms and bathrooms are so spacious, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the courtyard with swings is just too gorgeous. The whole place makes you feel like you've been transported to a different place and time altogether. Amazing amenities, stunning nature/views... I can keep coming back again and again!

This guest house is an absolute gem! What an unforgettable experience and escape. Guinevere is nestled amidst awe-inspiring natural beauty, serving as a tranquil oasis. The decor radiates both elegance and charm, with a touch of eccentricity, flawlessly enhancing the serene atmosphere. Encircled by majestic mountains, the surroundings are infused with a sense of peace and tranquility, providing a truly revitalizing retreat from the chaos of daily life. The staff, with their kindness and humor, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden treasure.

A truly incredible wedding / function / event venue!! Was here for a wedding in Feb and stayed for 1.5weeks. Beautiful morning views, plenty of space to braai, eat, and chill together as a group. Or alone. Swimmable dam. Pool table & bar area. Wood-fired jacuzzi 🌟 Swimming pool and sun chairs. ☀️Great vineyards and spa nearby. The famous Stellenbosch only an hour away (where we had an amazing lunch at the Fat Butcher). Super helpful and friendly staff.

And maybe the highlight of all highlights (other than the wedding of course)…. the bed. 🛌 We’re now looking to upgrade ours so we can have the ‘Guinevere comfort’ every night :)

A truly unforgettable stay at a picturesque house that served as the backdrop for our year-end staff meetings. Well appointed bedrooms, cozy living areas, the yoga studio a great way to start the day. The catering service provided delicious meals, accommodating various dietary preferences. This stay will undoubtedly be the highlight of our year, and I am already looking forward to our next visit.
