What time can I check in?

Strictly from 15:00
Please let us know if the first guest of your group will be arriving after 5pm so we can arrange for a staff member to be here for your arrival.

When do I need to check out?

Strictly at 12:00 (midday)

A late check-out can be arranged on request until 3pm at an additional R500

Is there internet access?

Yes. There is uncapped wifi throughout the house

Do you offer in- house catering?

No. We can send you a list of reccomended caterers in the area

When is the 50% deposit due?

48hrs after receiving your invoice, otherwise your dates are released back into the system.

Deposit is non refundable unless we manage to fill your booking with another party. A cancellation admin fee may apply

When is the balance due (full payment)

The balance of your booking payment is due 30 days before arrival and is non refundable

Is the house shared accommodation or will we have exclusive access?

The whole house will be exclusively yours during your stay. 

What is included in your rate?

Private accommodation and use of the facilities on the farm as well as daily housekeeping.

Can we purchase firewood from you?

Yes. We sell firewood at R80 per crate. Cash only

Do you accept card payments for firewood on site?

No. Cash only

Are you pet friendly?

Yes. Well behaved and socialised pets on request only. We have other animals on the property as well as free roaming chickens so we need to know beforehand if you are bringing pets of any kind so we can put them away.

Can I host my wedding there?

Yes. On request only. Additional rates apply for weddings and events

How many people can your house accommodate?

32 people maximum

Do you have wheelchair access?

No

How many bedrooms are there?

  • 9 en-suite bedrooms
  • 1 loft bedroom with no bathroom

How much does it cost per night?

We charge a flat rate of R18000 per night on weekends and R12000 per night Mon-Thurs nights

Do you charge a breakage deposit?

Yes we charge a damage deposit of R3000 which is fully refundable after your stay.

Do you get snow on your farm?

No we do not. However snow is usually visible on the Winterhoek mountain range between June-August

Do you have availability for two people in one bedroom?

No. We only book the venue out exclusively to groups of up to 32 people.

 

How far are you situated from Cape Town?

120km from Cape Town city centre

Do you allow music events and parties?

Yes on request. Additional rates may apply.

Directions to the farm

Please note that we are not in the town of Tulbagh but 8km on the outskirts of the centre of Tulbagh. It is very easy to get to us and works best to use your GPS system. Type in "Guinevere Guest Farm" into your GPS (Google maps or Waze) and it will direct you to our farm entrance. From there you will follow the signs up to the house.

We will send you written directions as well as our gate codes upon booking.
