We had an amaaaaazing time and wedding at Guinevere. Everyone was in awe of the beautiful place. Rooms are spacious, interior is stunning, staff is friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool alot and everyone just had a wonderful time

We had the best week of our lives celebrating our wedding at Guinevere. Marco and the team are incredible - so attentive, thoughtful, and full of integrity.

The space itself is magical. We had 27 of our friends stay in the house and another 6 at The Den and it was an absoloute blast. And there is now aircon in the main house - perfect for the hot summer days! The house was equipped with everything we needed and more, the pool was PERFECT, and we had an absoloute blast playing lawn games in the garden.

I cannot say enough good things. We are already planning a reunion there in the coming year. Thank you to Ilze, Marco, Emily and the rest of the team for the most memerable week in the most beautiful place.

We held our wedding at Guinevere and it was spectacular!! All the guests kept on saying was how beautiful the venue is. The rooms were so wonderful and decorated with such great attention to detail. The staff were amazing and overall I cannot recommend this venue enough for a wedding or event over a few days. The kitchen was so fully equipped and had everything we needed. We loved the jacuzzi and the pool.

We spent two nights at Guinevere for a corporate team build. Everything, from the rooms and common areas to the art and views, was absolutely stunning. We loved every moment of our stay. Would highly recommend!

Guinevere Guest Farm is just gorgeous. Set against stunning mountain views, the villa offers a unique and intimate atmosphere that’s perfect for special occasions or weekends away. The house feels full of character with spacious interiors and scenic outdoor spaces that make every moment memorable. Highly recommend for those seeking a private venue in a truly beautiful setting.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 40ths last weekend at Guinevere with 40 guests (we also booked the River Den cottage for extra accommodation), and it was absolutely perfect!

The house itself is exquisite! Spacious, beautifully furnished, and full of different spaces for relaxing, socialising, and activities. Between the fire pit, braai area, hot tub and deck, lush lawn, sheltered courtyard (which made the most stunning setting for our main event), plus the lounge, dining area, enormous kitchen, and pool floor complete with swimming pool, bar, lounge, and pool table - there really is something for everyone. Each bedroom is also incredibly comfortable with generous bedding and stylish touches.

The privacy of the location makes it ideal for a big celebration, and the friendly cleaning staff were such a thoughtful addition that made the weekend feel easy and relaxed.

Our guests had the best time, and so did we! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate this milestone. We’ll definitely be back again next year!

We had a great time, Marko was very helpful and kept the place very clean while we were there. The house is beautiful, great kitchen if you love cooking. Loved every moment and will definitely be back.

I celebrated my 45th birthday at this incredible house with all of my friends, and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was seamless and exceeded all expectations. The location is stunning, the bedrooms are beautifully appointed, and the space and amenities are top-notch. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay comfortable and memorable. There isn’t a single thing I could fault – it was truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special getaway. I’m already planning my return!

We hosted our retreat at the beautiful Guinevere Guest Farm recently, and the process was seamless. Ilze and her team was so incredibly accommodating and helpful on all fronts, they made sure we had everything we needed in terms of setting up the space for our retreat sessions. The rooms are comfortable and the venue is exquisite, with so many special spaces for a truly unique experience. So fortunate to have found the perfect spot, and looking forward to returning next year!

I was told, that long ago, a magic spell was cast over the area of Tulbagh—and after this weekend, I can definitely say we felt that magic.

Our friends advised us not to worry about the little things that might go wrong during the wedding and to simply focus on ourselves. But honestly, nothing went wrong. The staff and venue exceeded all expectations, and everything ran so seamlessly that we were left in awe.

Marko and his team were absolutely incredible, always helpful, always present when needed, and making sure every detail was taken care of. The venue itself is breathtaking, the rooms were beautifully designed, and every amenity provided was so well thought out, adding an extra layer of convenience to our stay.
